Guayabo is a national monument where preserved structures from 1000 BC to 1400 AD still exist and include a tomb, forty-three mounts, two open squares, three aqueducts, and two stone walkways. Guests on tour will also have the chance to see the summit of Turrialba Volcano while traveling to Guayabo. Turrialba volcano is the second tallest volcano which is surpassed only by Irazu.
